Research Notes:
Summary:
Anne Eriksdatter Langen [1733-1808] was my 5th great grandmother [my direct ancestor line of Lars Mikkelson, b 1830]. Her parents were Erik Olsen Langen and Inger Nilsdatter Østgård. Anne was most likely born at the Langen nordre farm in Røros parish, but her baptism was at the Dalsbgyda -Os church in Tolga parish. Anne's father died when she was about 11 years old. Her mother remarried shorty thereafter to Esten Jacobsen.
Anne Eriksdatter was married to Ole Olsen Dybdal on 10 Jun 1757 at Røros. It appears that Anne andn Ole Dybal lived in or near the town of Røros. Ole Dybal was a mine worker. He died in 1767 while at work at Storvarts - aka, Storwarts copper mine. Storwarts was owned/operated by Røros Copper Verks and was about 20 kms north westerly from Røros. When Ole Dybal died, Anne Eriksdatter and her children continued to live in Røros. Anne is recorded in the 1801 census at the street Kirkegaden in the town of Røros.
Anne Eriksdatter and Ole Olse Dybdal had 5 children, however, the 2 youngest died at of shortly after their birth. Their oldest daughter Gertrud was born in 1758. Gertrud was not married and it seems that she had lived with her mother. After Anne died, Gertrude continued to live in on the family home in Røros.
Anne Eriksdatter's daughter, Ingeborg was married to Jørgen Jonsen Haugen - Jorgen died on 25 May 1836 at the age of 84 years, and he died at Brekken [east and a bit north of Røros, about 50 kms]. Ingeborg and Jørgen had 6 children and I think they were all born at Brekken.
Anne Eriksdatter's, daughter Inger born 1759 went to live with Anne's sister Ingeborg Eriksdatter and her husband Hans Jensen Syl at the farm Sylen east of more mid-to south part of lake Femund and close to the Swedish border. The year that Inger went to Sylen is not clear - see her research for more information.
1. Røros-Boka, [vol 3 page 38 at the bottom]
Anne Eriksdatter is noted as living at Kirkegaden in the 1801 Census*. Kierkegaden was also known as Kjerkgata [hus. no. 51] and was located within the town of Røros. In the Røros-Boka, [vol 3 page 38 at the bottom], "Ole Olsen Dydalen [1728-1767] was living at hus. no 59 along with his wife, Anne [1735-1808], and daughters, Gjertrud b 1758, Inger b 1759, Lusie b 1764 and died the same year, and Lusie b 1766 [she also had died in 1766]. None of the daughters remained in Røros, and after their mother died, the estate was purchased by Jokum Ellensen Begamger"
