It's not clear, but Tonnetta may have married again but later in life, possibly sometime in the early 1930s ..
to John Quam living in the area around McVille in Hamlin Twp, Nelson County

The Ancestry Family Trees do not record another marriage, but note that she died at McVille, Nelson Co, ND ... although McVille was the location of the nearest 'community' Hospital

In the Sheyenne Cemetery record on North Dakota, U.S., Cemetery Records, 1877-1999 for Andors Bakke, image 13 ...
Andors Bakke, then a baby Bakke and then below his name are people, named "Quam"
... among these are: John Quam, 1849-1937* .. Tonnetta Quam, 1850-1934 ... Martin Quam, 1876-1944
for Tonnetta and Martin - birth and death dates match
there is a ND death Cert, but it notes that he is a widow ... died at McVille https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61747/images/49142_302022005541_1050-00092?pId=394104
However, there is no record of a marriage between Tonnetta and John Quam, but only for a person named John P Quam in 1939

BUT... Tonnetta Arlien and son Martinus are recorded in Waterloo Twp, Allamakkee .. she is a housekeeper with house of
Thore Alfsborg [sp] ... her age is recorded as 29 ... Martinus age 4
and then image 5 is Anders M Bakken with household of his brother Esten M Bakken, dw/fam 37

  Noted events in her life were:

1. Burial, uncertain, 1934, 1934, Sheyenne Lutheran Cemetery, Bergen Twp, Nelson Co, North Dakota, United States. Tonetta's [and her son Martin] burial is uncertain. It is most likely that her burial is at Sheyenne Lutheran Cemetery, but there is no grave marker or any details of her burial. I have speculated that she may have remarried to John Quam - there is a burial note for "Tonnetta Quam, 1850-1934" and this is the only person named "Tonnetta". Her son Martin is also recorded with the surname "Quam". However, I have found no evidence that she remarried. I suppose it is possible that she lived in John Quam and it was assumed they were married?
