- in 1920 he went to Everett, WA and coached basketball at Everett Junior High - for 11 years [ until 1931; however, point 8 records him in Everett in 1933 ?? ]
- in May 1921, married to Miss Becky Hackenback from Monticello, Indiana - they made their home in Everett until 1936 when he retired from coaching and moved back to Minnesota, living in International Falls [Koochiching County, MN ] for seven years and then back to Fosston [ abt 1943 ]
- survived by one son, Robert, of Terre Haute, Ind; three brothers, Elmer of Madison, WI, Clifford of Alexandria, MN, and Milton of Red Mountain, CA
