Olena Maria Larson

Olena Maria, aka Mary, was the third oldest child of Esten Larson and Kjersti Olsdtr. However, her actual date of birth is uncertain.
The 1900 US Census record records her living with her brother Edward Larson, likely on the home farm. Her birth is noted as Apr 1874. This year of birth is also noted in a calculated birth year in the 1880 US Census. But in a calculated year of birth on the 1885 MN State and 1895 MN State, her birth year is noted as 1872 or 1873. And further, the confirmation records from Ten Mile Lake Lutheran Church records record that on 21 Oct 1888 she was 16 years old and so a calculated birth would be 1872 or 1873.
But it is unlikely she was born in 1872, since this is the birth year of her brother Louis, aka Lewis. Thus, I have recorded her birth in 1873.

Unfortuately I have not found any further information or evidence for Olena Maria or Mary Larson after the 1900 US Census. The surname 'Larson' is very common so without more evidence it is almost impossible to find what happened to her.

In the 1900 US Census she is recorded as a sister to her brother Edward, but nothing else [see notes below]. I have not found marriage record or a death record. None of the FTs record any more information on Mary

... the problem is that this Mary Larson is NOT the same as 'our' Mary Larson b 1874
... but Ten Mile Lake Lutheran church record has the birth/baptism record for Cora [no initial] b 18 Jan 1893, with parents
Maria Bothum [Mary Larson ?] and possibly, Sterner Thompson [maybe Esten ???, but hard to read] with her witnesses as
Nels Clauson and wife, Maria Bothum, Lewis Bothum [Larson?] [image 4 of the church records]
...
Is it possible that Thomas Larson and Marit [Thompson] adopted Cora or that Cora was a neice of Marit Thompson, the
wife of Thomas ????
