- lived at 278 West Burnside Road, Saanich, BC
- died at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria of cerebral hemmorage (18 hrs); had hypertension for last 5-6 years
- says place of birth as Fosston, North Dakota and that her father's (Thron Movold) birth place was Fosston, ND --- North Dakota is a mistake
- mother's maiden name or place of birth as "unknown"
- informant, W H Betteridge, husband ⁴¹⁵

  Noted events in her life were:

1. Birth 1893, 1893, Fosston, Polk Co , Minnesota, United States. ²¹⁴⁵ The BC archives death certificate records her birth as 20 Mar 1892 with the location of Fosston, North Dakota [Fosston was in MN]. The US Evangelical Lutheran Church Records record her birth as 20 Mar 1893 and baptism on 22 May 1893. It is likely that the church records are the most accurate, since they are recorded closer to the birth than the death certicate record.

2. Residence 1921, 1921, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. ²¹⁴⁷ Three Movold sisters are living together (recorded as Lodgers in a rooming house owned by Mrs M A Tonell), in Calgary: Alma age 28 born in US, working on own account as a 'ladies dressmaker'; Laura age 24 born in US, not working; Agnes age 24 working as a Stenographer with a Grain Office. All three are recorded as single and that the year of emigration was 1909.

Note that on the line above Alma is W H Betteridge, single, age 33 born in England, emigrated in 1903, working as a Stock Rancher on his own account. Alma Movold and William Betteridge later marry.

Alma married William Henry Betteridge.⁴¹⁵ (William Henry Betteridge was born on 12 Jan 1889 in Warwickshire, England ²¹⁴⁸ and died on 18 Jun 1964 in Saanich, British Columbia, Canada ²¹⁴⁸.)
