bullet  Research Notes:

NOTE: there is no indication that Evelyn or her sister, Helen, had on-going contact with their father, August Erickson b 1866.

I have not found a lot of information on Evelyn. However, she had married in 1921 [and later divorced, before 1930] Samuel Deliott Moss. He was born in 1898 in Tennessee. They had 2 children, Robert and Howard. However, I have not found any information on Robert. Howard is mention in her obituary, but I haven't found any further information on him.

[ there are a few articles using newspapers.com; maybe died from a heart attack launching his boat with his brother in law;
Sam Moss, 63, from Bakersfield; anglers prowl lakes streams in the High Sierra; but there doesn't seem to be an obit
- Sam Moss likely remarried in 1936 to Ruth Gerry age 27 [b abt 1909] ; both are recorded on findagrave id for Sam, 8888901

Stockton State Hospital for Insane
line 37; Evelyn Moss, age 44 b in MO; divorced
- if this is the right person, then she had some mental health problems and was hospitalized - the length of stay is not known
- this would possibly explain why her 2 children were recorded as "wards" in the 1930 US Census in Kern Co, and that Davis Fuller and his wife were like foster parents. I have not been able to find Evelyn's 2 sons in the 1940 Census, but they may have used a different surnames [I did use given names and births, but nothing; I also reviewed the 1940 US Census for Bakersfield looking for Sam Moss on both Ancestry and FamilySearch, but nothing]
