  Research Notes:

I have little direct evidence of Justine/Justina in the US. It appears that she used the given name of Justina, sometimes spelled Justine. I believe the following is correct, but there is no collaborating evidence. My hunch is based on: [1] She is recorded with her parents in the 1910 US Census, with the name as Maria J Anderson, daughter age 34, married 0 years [1909-1910]; em 1880. [2] This lead me to check marriage records [* MOMS .... Justine Strand married to Charley Anderson, 12 Feb 1910 .... Wright Co marriage cert M-195; this is likely Carl John/Johan Anderson ]. [3] And on another record, the 1940 US Census for Stockholm Twp, she and Carl are the next family from her sister, Karoline Frey/Strand. [4] burial at the Stockholm Lutheran Church Cemetery.
