Summary: I have reviewed ancestors for Erik Erickson b 1810, checking to see if there is a family relationship. My Conclusion is that
"it is likely/possible there is a family relationship" .

The early household records for Fryksände parish do not provide enough evidence. But it is is likely that Erik Eriksson (b 1810) ancestors go back to early settlers at Fäbacken - namely Sigfrid Josefsson b abt 1600 in Finland and his wife Marit Örjansdotter. Marit's sister was Karin Örjansdotter who was married to 'our' Klemet Pedersson Porkka b about 1675 in Finland [ this information is from the geni.com FT - see below ]. This is not a family relationship, only a family connection though the 2 Örjansdotter systers. This geni.com FT may or maynot be accurate - at this point it is almost impossible to verify the information, since I do not have access to some of the sources.

However, there is some evidence that Johan Sigfridsson (b 1645) was married to Marit Eriksdotter (1650-1721) Porkka and if this is correct there would be a direct family relationship. More research is needed.

Marit Eriksdotter (b 1650) father was Erik Klemetsson Porkka (1615-d. 1662 in Norway) and this Erik Klemetsson was a brother to "our" Lars Klemetsson Porkka (abt 1605, d. abt 1655 at Runnsjön)

** 6th Gen from above --- note - this Johan Johansson's birth in 1734 does not seem to be recorded in Fryksände parish records. As well, Matts Johansson (b abt 1735), a son of Johan Sigfridsson (b 1835) is also not recorded in the parish records. Matts is also not noted in the
geni.com FT, and it is from this Matts that decendants include eventually Erik Ericksson b 1810 and married to Katarania Anderssdotter b 1806, and the family the emigrated and homesteaded in Stockholm Twp, Wright Co, MN.

If this geni.com FT is accurate, then there would be a family relationship through Marit Ersdotter [Porkka] b abt 1650, d. 28 Nov 1722 at Vittjärn. But as I noted above, it is difficult to verify the information. However, it seems that the Finnish Family Name (FFN) used in relation to the Erik Eriksson (b 1810) and his descendants and family is Hämäläinen.

NOTE: the spelling of Erik and of Eriksson varies and at time is confusing. For the most part I have used the spelling 'Erik' and 'Eriksson', but as people moved to the US, the perferred spelling became 'Erick and Erickson' and so in the US, usually I use to more American spelling, and at times, some family researchers will record the American spelling. But it should also be noted that in some records, I find the patronomyic spelling as "Ersson" or "Ersdotter".

NOTE: some family researchers record the current parish as birth/death parishes. I usually recorded the name of the parish that the event took place. The farm/village of "Fäbacken" was initially within the boundary of Fryksände parish. Then around 1765, it was recorded under the newly created parish of Östmark. And then around 1850, Fäbacken was within the boundary of Lekvattnet parish when it was created.

NOTE: the owner/manager or poster of the information for the named geni.com FT varies. And so at times it is difficult to determine who to source the information to or dates of the posted information, since dates change
