bullet  Research Notes:

NOTE: Watertown Twp, Carver Co, is a bit west of downtown Minneapolis, but Carver Co borders Hennepin Co.
Watertown is less than 50 kms to the east and south of Cokato, Wright Co. Just to the north of Watertown is the southern border of Wright Co [and a few kms from the eastern border of Wright Co - almost strait north would be Buffalo, Wright Co.

2. Family Search FT: LVBF-3V4
- name as Christine Moody, 1827, married to Nels Mattson

- "someone", but not identified has made the following comment on "life sketch":
"Kersten married Nils Mattson, a widower, after she came to America in 1864. They lived near Watertown, Minnesota. Two children were born to Nils and Kersten and Nils' and his first wife Caroline had three. Jon Mattson's family have been the publishers of the newspaper for many years at Warren, Minnesota [Jon/John Mattson was the son of Nils Mattson and his first wife Caroline/Carolina]. Hulda lived at Cokato [also from his first marriage], and the others live at Watertown. All have descendents except Anna who was in a wheelchair for many years. Nils was a Civil War veteran. They are buried at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Watertown."

[ note: Manuel Aquilar Hendrickson has made some comments, re alternate name: Moody/Modig used in the US]

- over-all: linking to others names mentioned doesn't add a lot of new information, but suggested Nels Mattson's birth was at Vasa, Västra Götaland, Sweden, but no record - see his research notes [28 Oct 2021 viewing of pages]
- this familysearch FT also has this comment on Nils Mattson's birth: and on some of the sources for children:
