Summary: Hinrik Pålsson b 1825 was known in the US as Henrik Paulson. He was the oldest son of Pål Henriksson (b 1793) and in Apr 1865, he was the first of this family to emigrate to the US. His younger brother, Per P (b 1834) and his family also emigrated, but about 20+ years later [he died in 1919 at Milaca, Mille Lacs Co MN]. Two of his 1st cousins, Stina Mattsdotter (b 1826) and Maria Mattsdotter (1829) also emigrated in later in 1865 (Dec and Nov respectively). Stina and Maria were daughter of Matts Hinriksson b 1795 who was Henrik Paulson's uncle. All 3 families settled in the Cokato, Wright Co area.

Henrik Paulson's first wife Karin Henriksdotter died in 1871 in MN. Henrik and Karin had 6 children. About 3 months after the death of Karin, Henrik Paulson remarried to Marit Halstensdotter (1834-1879). Henrik and Marit had 5 children with the 2 youngest dying as infants. Marit died in 1879, likely due to child birth related issues. Marit Halstensdotter's father was Halsten Persson (1804-1855) and her ancestors can be traced back to my 6th great
grandfather, Ivar Nilsson (1713-1787).

Henrik Paulson was married a third time in 1881 to Lovisa Larsdotter (1833-1924). They did not have children.

Henrik died in 1905 at Cokato, Wright Co, MN
