  Research Notes:

Summary: Halsten Marik (or Alrich) Nordberg came Minnesota with his parents in 1882, first settling in Rockford Twp in Wright Co. By 1895 many members of the family moved to Buffalo Twp in Wright Co. From the information I have been able to obtain, Halsten did not have children. He was married in 1900 to Christina Lundberg. Christina had previously been married, and she had 2 children with her first children. Her sobn, Hjalmar continued to live on Halsten's farm and eventually took over the home place. Christina's daughter Hulda married to Helmer Julius Peterson from Wright Co and by 1920, they had moved to Minneapolis (he was a machinist). Julius Peterson and Hulda had 2 children.

Note that some records note is name as Holstein A Nordberg
