[in 1941 he was at Spokane with his mother Florence, a widow - US Cities Directories [ and on this page, links to an Idaho marriage record from the Latah Co on 12 Apr 1941 - Norman Clyde Duke of Spokane, and Dorothy Evelene McClenahan of Spokane

- I have looked in the Spokeman-Review (Spokane, WA) for an obit - but Norman Clyde Duke death in 1999 does not seem to be published: the findagrave links to a younger sister of his, Patsy C Duke who died 29 Mar 2007, but also no obit - I did find a death notice in the isse 2 Apr 2007 page 24 and a note that says the funeral on 3 Apr - I looked up the funeral Home (Heritage Funeral Home) but they only go back 90 days
