Although I have not found a death or burial record for daughter Maria, she likely died sometime between the time that the family left Östmark parish in Apr 1867 and before the first available US Census record on 1 Jun 1870. However, she likely died even earlier than Jun 1870, since she is NOT recorded in the Stockholm Lutheran Church records. These records say that the family arrive in the Stockholm Twp area on 31 Jan 1869. Maria is not recorded with other family members, suggesting that she died before coming to the Stockholm Twp area.
