3. in 1920 and 1930 US Census, he is recorded with his mother, Sigrid b 1741 in Sweden - she died 1936; and his father, Olof died in 1917
4. 1940 US Census, Benson Co, Twin Tree Twp, Ed 3-39, sheet 2A, household 24, line 31 Albert Hallsten, age 57 [1883]; single Emma Merrick, housekeeper, age 35, b in ND; she is divorced; housekeeping farm home - records Albert in the same place in Apr 1935 - Brodin-Ostlund FT records they are married, But .............?
