bullet  Research Notes:

1. The Färila volume, HVIa:2, 1734-1768 - on the spine of the binding: "Bil. till Dödbok Personalier" - 'Bil.' is an abbreviation for 'bilaga', meaing insert; and "Personalier" means personal or biographical data.

death: 19 May 1737; Färila, HVIa:2, 1734-1768, page 42, bottom of 1st side and top of 2nd side [gives a bit more detail than F:1]

Anders .... in Hogdal. Age 20 years <1775>, married to (bonde) Halvar Rolfsson, farmer at Kårböle ....... ?? [1707 is when her husband died .... 19 years ago? blind ....? ] ... died 19 May 1737 at age 82 years

* as indicated, writing is difficult but it's possible that the name is Olof Eriksson Stålhammar - BUT all the other researchers use the name of Olof Olofsson Stålhammar, and going through the Söderhamn parish records, I no evidence that there was a person named Olof Eriksson Stålhammar. Torbjörn Nas in 1999 and in 2003 posts does record the name Olof Eriksson Stålhammar, but by 2004 he uses the name, Olof Olofsson Stålhammar

** 22 Oct 2018; I tried to rework the translation (Torbjörn Näs had posted a transcription of this on Anbytarforum - see the document below, point 2)

The widow of Kårböle's erl. [?] was wife Karin Olofsdotter, a pious and religious woman. She was born in 1655 in June. Her father was a smith at the "gun factory" in Söderhamn, Olof Eriksson Stålhammare and her mother was Karin Olofsdotter, baptized, [wäluptucktad ??]. She was able to read in a book and understand her Christianity [teachings] very well and cherished her Christianity [wackert=pretty, handsome, beautiful, cherish]. In her youth she was with [or maybe learned] her uncle [morbror=mother's brother) who was a church priest [with the army?] Anders in Hodal [Andreas Olai Arbroensis in Ytterhogdal Esee above geni.com link].

In her 20th year [about 1675], she married Halvar Rolfsson, bonde [farmer] in K with whom she was married for 32 years. They had six children, 2 sons and 4 daughters. One son and one daughter is dead [likely both were born before 1680] (Dhe) other now coming true. Thirty years ago her husband died, [about 1707] and 19 years ago she has been blind. She bears her life with Christian patience, good behavior and honesty. She was sick and bedridden for 4½ weeks, during which time she contemplated and prepared for her death and the Lord summoned her a blissful last moment. She had her Christian burial on May 19. She lived to the age of 82, and less than one month.
