- Ole had one of the first sawmills at Robbie Coulee (in the foothills west of Clareshom) - many homes in the area were made of lumber from this sawmill - had one of the first threshing outfits - farmed the homestead until 1916 (same year that Olava Berg, Thea's mother died) - retired and moved to Minneapolis, but came back in the fall for a few years for threshing with his nephew, Alfred - moved to Seattle

- Ole, Thea, and Jose age 17, sister (to head of household) - all emigrated 1903 - Sec 28, Twp 12, Range 26 - 3 horses, 3 milk cows, 4 other cattle, 8 sheep
