Farmer - gentleman

He participated as a member of the "collective body of farmers" (or peasantry) in the 1742-1743 Riksdag, but died 1743-02-12 at night and was buried 1743-02-15 in St. Olof's cemetery. Boupteckning (or Probate) [ Inventory and division of property and estate; making an inventory of a deceased person's goods and chatels; "deciding what was there" ] was held on February 27, 1743. He was succeeded by Olov Persson from who also died.

Parliament continues during the same general meeting, even under the auspices of Stockholm's day of mourning in 1743, according to Anna Birg-Falander he died in 1743.

Riksdag forts samma riksm enligt Anna Birg-Falander skull han avlidit 1743 under bevistade av herredagen i Stockholm.

2. The above FT (Stockhaus) records that Jöns Halvarsson (b 1690) records the following other children:

Halvar Jönsson, b 1718 (although his tree notes birth as 1716; AND died in 1801, "Han dog i fält" - likely meaning he died in the same area; [ Olsson släktträd records he died 17 Jun 1801 at Mångsgården, Sveg )

but the available church book records 1718)
Ingeborg Jönsdotter, b 1724
Måns Jönsson, b 1728 [ if tradtional naming patterns were followed, then the 2nd son (Måns would be named after his mother's father, Måns; thus his mother's patronymic name would have been "Månsdotter

Sven Östvall, b 1722 [ I have found no other corresponding evidence of father-son relationship ]
Jöns Östvall, b 1735 [ same comment as Sven ]

** given the gaps in the year of births of the children (between 1718-1722; 1724-1728; and 1728-1735) it is likely that there were other children.

*** her mother ... Kersjtin Swensdotter ???? - a mistake ?? OR is this a first marriage and also the mother of Halvar Jönsson (b 1718) and thus, "our" Måns Jönsson (b 1728) was from Jöns Halvarsson's second marriage to Kjerstin Halvarsdotter -- OR is this name a mistake?

"Hede lappförsamling" - I'm not sure if this only refers to a parish for Lapps or Sami people. It appears there was a time that the Sami were separated out and some did not have a home parish [ ??? ]

- Note the Stockhaus FT records death as 9 Oct 1799
- church book: born in Vallen in Sveg, 1735 parents are NOT named ..... ; before name, is Målare-Gesellen [likely, meaning a journeyman painter, but painter of what - buildings, murials] ; there are some other comments, but I can't make it out .... Prastgården .... ; does not note if married or had children
- Unfortunately there are no household records prior to 1808 (although there is one book out Ljusnedal parish for the year, 1738-1740; I also checked Tännäs parish, but nothing)

BUT, there is no evidence that he was the son of Jöns Halvarsson (1690-1743)
