- i see her mother was from Norwegian Ljördalen. Her brother Bård was a shoemaker and lived with her family next door to me. His daughter still lives there.

Bård was my grandfather. Mom still lives on the moor and she's doing fine. Remember I met you. But then you were a little girl, mom talk about you and your family seen as it is. This picture I don't think I've ever seen.

Lady with the hat on the left is my great-Aunt Olga Kvernbæk - Bård and Ragnhilds cousin. (the others are my mother's side at Skjæraasen at Østby - mother Inger and her adult children, Ragnhild, Paul and Gunda).

Nå har jeg sjekket. Det var datter til Oline, søster til disse søsknene sin far ? Now I've checked. It was the daughter Oline, who was a sister of Johan Olsen Moen, the father of these siblings [Ragnhild Johansdatter's, etc would have been an aunt but only by marriage - at least that is what I know now]
