There is not a lot of information about Gramma Jonas' days prior to her death, although mom wrote some comments in the the 'booklet C pdf' and document that I have on my PC
Don't forget to review: Jonas and Anna Lofgren, photo document - this is about their farm and buildings, with a bit on the first house. photo doc is on Google Drive, MyComputers (2), crashed 28 Jan 2020 ...Pictures .... Genealogy ... Jonas and Anna Lofgren

4. with Roger Lofgren (20 Dec 2018) - Gramma Jonas was at their place a lot. We had talked a little about my dad's car (the 1933 Chevolet Echo model, with the back doors opening from front - see photo in my photo documents) and that reminded Roger that he remembers Gramma always "stepped into the car forward" and then with a bit of a bent, she would turn around and sit down. She never got into the car the usual way - faceforward and then put one leg into the car and then shuffle a bit, always facing forward, sitting or sliding onto the sit. - my hunch is that the 1933 Chevolet car that my dad had was bought from Grandpa Jonas and that this was first his car. With that car, you would step into the back seat (almost like walking into the car) and then sit down. - Roger didn't think that Gramma Jonas ever drove a car
5. Google books, "Swedes in Canada: Invisible Immigrants" by Elinor Barr; University of Toronto Press, Toronto: Ontario. 2015
- a note about Grandma's album that she had sent to the Vilhelmina Sweden museum in the mid-1950s; start with page 94 (about Pastor Lindgren and the church)
also: a simple footnote on page 380 with her listed as a "collector" and another note refering to Anna M Lofgren but this is a different person,
then: in the name index (search by Jonas August Lofgren) is the following that I have transcribed: "Anna Greta Näslund Löfgren was the daughter of Johan and Lisa Näslund of Nästansjö, Vilhelmina. She married Jonas August Löfgren, from Siksjonäs, Vilhelmina, who immigrated in 1912".
at the website, http://www.swedesincanada.ca/index.html - has some additional information about the author of the above
