Research Notes:
1. Baggs FT from Ancestry.com [ 15 May 2017 ]
- has a marriage on 22 Jan 1938 in Hillsborough Co married to Madonna Mae Forwerck born 11 July 1916 and died 8 Aug 1987 in Clearwater, Pinellas Co. With one living male. This also says she was married twice, but appears the marriage to William I Nelson was the first marriage. However, William I Nelson is recorded as "single" living with his parents in the 1940 US Census
on Ancestry BUT I can't her (with that name) in Florida indexes on familysearch or findagrave.
there is one record of marriages for William, BUT spouse is not named William Irvin Nelson Florida Marriage Index and 1927-2001 NameWilliam Irvin Nelson Event TypeMarriage Event Date1938 Event PlaceHillsborough, Florida, United States Volume421 Certificate Number989
BUT there is a record for Maionna Mae Ferwerck with same volume (421) and cert # (989), so the record likely has incorrect spelling of the first name - see below, re; surname of 'Reed'
If this is true, then they divorced or separated by 1 Apr 1940
