1. When I was first recording some of the information on some of the "Skaarets", I reviewed information on some sources that appear to have mis information and as of 7 Sep 2023, are no longer available to review. Even earlier [May 2005], I had downloaded pages from "www.kindredkonnections" which is no longer on-line [see my "skaret" binder.
However, the information accuracy is questionable.

In 2017 I had found a website with Arlid Oliver Bråthen's database. This appeared to have fairly good accuracy, but it is also no longer available. Since I have created source citations with Arlid's information, I have left it as part of my data.

I have found the information from the following 2 sources fairly accurate:

The above Brynjulf's data utilizes information from the Trysilboka, but he doesn't often record information on descendants [maybe some descendants for one generation. The geni.com information does record information on descendants but often doesn't give much source citations. and of course, the same can be said for many Family Trees on Ancestry or FamilySearch.

Over the years, my normal practice is to use some Family Trees as starting points. With ancestors in Trysil parish,
I then would try to verify information using the first 3 volumes of the Trysilboka...Garder og slekter, and also try to confirm by using the Norway parish records

Anne Marie's daughter, Kersti Persdatter married to Børre Olsen, and they had a son, Børre Børresen (1837-1927) and he had a daughter, Kersti (1870-1902) who married Johan Olsen, and they had a daughter, Ragnhild Johansdotter born 29 Sep 1897 who then became a fosterdaughter to Torgal Persson Skaaret in Los, Sweden. Kersti Perdatter and Børre Olsen 's other son, Kristoffer/Christopher Boreson had emigrated and settled in the Davison Co, area of South Dakota.

As with many instances, there is a "double family relationship", with Kersti Persdatter's (1806-1896) grandmother on her mother's side, Kersti Ottersdatter (1742-1827) (Kersti Ottersdatter - Otter Olsen Skaaret - Ole Gjermundsen Hammersgaard) and with Kersti Persdatter's husband, Børre Olsen's (1798-1894) great uncle on his father's side (Børre Olsen - Ole Gjermundsen - Gjermund Olsen Hammersgaard - Ole Gjermundsen Hammergaard's other son, Otter Olsen Skaaret)

Note: it is doubtful that Anne Marie Persdatter's children used the surname of 'Tekta' as implied in Trysilboka, as this is likely farm or cabin name



2. As of 2 Jan 2018, I have not entered all of Anne Marie Persdatter Skaaret's children - she and Børre Olsen had 12 children; nor have I entered all descendants. I only entered a direct line to 'Ragnhild Johansdatter, born 29 Sep 1897 and after her mother had died in 1902 and at age 4-5, she went to live with Torgal Persson Skaaret (1836-1930) in Los parish, Gävleborg län, Sweden ^3603,6587

Anne married Per Olsen in 1803 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.²⁵⁷⁷ (Per Olsen was born on 14 Aug 1785 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway and died on 1 Aug 1809 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.)

Anne next married Per Olsen Hammersgaarden on 25 Mar 1821 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway ²⁵⁷⁷.^,6618 (Per Olsen Hammersgaarden was born in 1796 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway and died on 25 Sep 1862 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.)
