Olga Prestlien

  Research Notes:

Olga Prestlien was the 4th children of Iver Prestlien and Kjersti Grue. In 1905 she married Theodore P Larson
[b 1867]. Olga's brother was Simon Prestlien and he had married Tilda Gedstad, who was the daughter of Alex O Gedstad and Gunhild/Julia Larson - and, she was a sister to Theodore P Larson.

Thus, Tilda Gedstad was a niece of Theodore Larson and Olga Prestlien --- another family inter connection.

- name as Peter Larson, but his given name was most likely would be an error -- age is 60, thus born in 1870; born in Iowa which would be right
- daughter Inez at home
- Ester Botten is listed as a lodger and as a beautician

- letter provides names of Olga's children and gives descendents (including names of step-children) - - - no dates of birth/death given; but very little detail

- came here in 1883 with her parents, Mr and Mrs Iver Prestlien
- then farmed with her husband, the late Theodore Larson, in Florence
- later lived in Santa Rosa, CA;
- returned to Seattle 30 years ago
- burial will be in Evergreen - but doesn't specify if this is Seattle or Everett
- survived by: see point above, but there are some corrections/differences - Mrs Ralph Shoemaker, Mrs Opal Horn, Mrs Milton Cook;


8. Theodore Larson Obit - 28 Dec 1939

- died of a heart attack
- born in Iowa, came to Florence at age 16
- married 1905
- survived by his widow, Olga; 4 daughters, Mrs Kelma Amundson of Everett, Mrs Eileen Parker, Mrs Opal Horn and Mrs Inez Mickeslen of Seattle; 2 grandsons, and one sister, Mrs Anna Jacques of Kelso. WA

"Miss Olga Prestlien, who has resided in Seattle for some months, was called to her former home in Silvana the other day on account of her mother's illness"

Olga married Theodore Peter Larson on 22 May 1905 in Silvana, Snohomish Co, Washington, United States ³⁸⁵.^,386 (Theodore Peter Larson was born on 26 May 1867 in Marion Twp, Clayton Co, Iowa, United States ³⁹⁰ and died on 24 Dec 1939 in Seattle, King Co, Washington, United States ³⁹⁰.)
