Research Notes:
Through my grandmother, Anna Margareta Naslund, I have a 'double relationship' with Sara Cajsa Näslund and her husband, Anders Valfrid Eliasson, 1861-1944. Anders' father was Elias Andreas Andersson, 1834-1884, and he was my 2nd great-grandfather - one of his daughters, Lisa Albertina Eliasdotter [1865-1911] was married to my great-grandfather, Johan Nikalous Näslund, 1863-1884. Sara Cajsa Näslund's father was Erik Johan Näslund, 1830-1897. She was also a sister to my great-grandfather, Johan Nikalous Näslund.
However, it should be noted Johan Nikalous Näslund and Elias Andreas Andersson are not directly related. Their connection is only through their children's marriage.
A son of Anders Valfrid Eliasson and Sara Cajsa Nälund was Elias Anderson who was born in 1889. He left Vilhelmina parish in 1912 for Minnesota, but returned to Sweden in 1919. Elias along with his wife Betty and daughter Norma left Vilhelmina, Sweden in 1920 and settled in the east Hay Lakes area in Alberta, Canada. He and his wife are both buried at Wilhelmina Lutheran Church cemetery.
