- Andrew's father (Iver M Prestlien and uncle, Andrew M Prestlien) were experienced raftsman and brought many other families down the McLeod River and occassionally the Athabasca River
2. Grue family records and papers: letter's (complied by Mary E Grue, about 1979) indicate that Andrew did not have a family (from Kelma Shoemaker and from Olreen Stevens)
