Research Notes: 1. www.geni.com Noted events in his life were: 1. Disproven Birth, abt 1645, Abt 1645, Finland. 5628 There is no agreement on the place of birth. Some researchers indicate Finland. However when they came to Örträst around 1678, it has been noted that the family had been in Sweden for around 30 years. This would then would mean that they were Sweden by 1648 and possibly earlier. A court record of 1764 notes that Erik Samuelsson (a grandson of Johan Philipsson Hilduinen and the son of Samuel Johansson) "swore on oath" that his father and silblings were born in Falun, Darlna (then a part of Kopperbergs län). See, Johan Philipsson Hilduinen research article, bottom of page 5. Samuel married Anna Mårtensdotter. (Anna Mårtensdotter was born in 1647 in Västermorrland län, Sweden and died in 1737 in Lycksele, Västerbotten, Sweden.) |
