1. many of the Ancestry.com Public Member Trees (for example, Hawkins-Hansen), record the name and dates for the birth/death of John Edvard, but provide no source information.
2. Mothers' obit of 1930 - Sarah Wold-Prestlien -Torgerson
- notes that she was married to Nils Prestlien in 1874; he died in 1891.
- "... to this union (marriage of Nils and Sarah), six children were born, Marie, Ole, Clara, John, Jonette, and Nels, two surviving..."
SO, the only children living were Marie and Clara; Ole died in 1914, Jonette and Nels-Nelvin died as children and are buried at Zion Lutheran Church cemetery;
John would be the other child - he is not recorded as buried at the cemetery, but of course the cemetery/church would not have been established in 1884; he likely was buried on the farm stead, Prestlien Bluff, in a marked or now unmarked grave 576
