Eggen, born in 1881, son of Johan Peders. Eggen living at Eggahaugen (plads) farm in Selbu Parish, Sør Trøndelag ++ this is likely the person in the Minneapolis City Directory; there another record in Norway - Emigrants fr Trondhiem records Peter Martins. Eggen, single, born in 1881, at Børsen parish registered 10 Aug 1910 with destination as Buch Hills, SK ---- likley not the right person

-- can't find Peter Eggen recorded or anyone recorded at the 3013 N 4th St address (or anyone recorded on the 3000 block of N 4th St) - possibly missed or no one at the house
- handwriting is pretty clear; no index on ancestry
- I also scanned ED 192, but this is a bit further west from 4th




[ 5 Jun 2013 ] Conclusion It is likely that Peder/Peter J Eggen was living with his brother Thore in 1908 in Minneapolis, MN, but there is no clear evidence where he resided from 1909 to the date of his death in 1950 in Eugene, OR - the same city as his nephew (Almer N Eggen) and niece (Nina J Gravdal - Eggen). There are no public trees on ancestry that give any information or evidence. Although it is possible that he is the person recorded in 1920 US Census in NJ and 1940 US Census in MN, there is only marginal evidence of this and therefore I have not recorded this.
