NOTE: Ancestry.com Public Members Trees - there are a number of family trees (see those listed/sourced for his brother, Thore Nils Eggen). There are 2 additional "Ole N Eggen" family trees that provide some information (however, there are inconsitencies and inaccuracies), usually citing US Census records. Search by Ole Eggen, born 1867 +- 2yrs, born in Norway; I have combined these two trees as one source citiation. These two are:
(1) krumhansl Family Tree 'owner Adam Krumhansl' from Whitefish, WI; last logon 2012 or later; family relationship is likely through Emily Kalla's marriage to Ole N Eggen (Emily's ancestors); (2) Smithson Family Tree 'owner Leslie_Smithson' from Indiana; last logon in Jan 2013; family relationship is likely through Emily Kalla's marriage to Ole N Eggen (Emily's ancestors);

- other family trees that do not provide any sources or useful information start with Everan Woodland (wrong Ole Eggen with birth in May 1866), Ragsdale (same), Hodges (uses a wrong Ole Eggen, born in 1867, but emigrated in 1886, and the US Census information is again different Ole Eggen

Conclusion: There is probable evidence indicating that the Ole N Eggen family information recorded is the 'accurate' Ole Eggen family. This is based on the 2 Ancestry.com Family Trees indicated above, Ancestry.com Family Trees sourced under Thore Nils Eggen family data, Nils Paulson Eggen family data recorded on the Østerdalslaget Project 2010, and the obit for Thore Nils Eggen indicating that he was survived by his brother Ole Eggen from Omaha, NE
