Mrs. Marylyn B. Helseth, 86, died Aug. 9, 2003.
She was born in Rolla, N.C., and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1984, coming from Baton Rouge, La.
Prior to retirement, she was a secretary for an oil distribution company.
Mrs. Helseth was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and was the founder of the chapter at Louisiana State University and the St. Lucie Historical Society.
Survivors include her son, David G. Helseth of Florida; brother Robert Butterwick of Berwyn, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Helseth was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Helseth; and son John S. Helseth.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH, 44720.
SERVICES: A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Viking Cemetery, Fort Pierce.

John married Marilyn Ann Butterwick in 1955 in Hernando Co, Florida, United States.⁴⁵⁹⁷ (Marilyn Ann Butterwick was born on 22 May 1917,⁴⁵⁵⁷ died on 9 Aug 2003 in Fort Pierce, St Lucie Co, Florida, United States ^4557,4601 and was buried in Viking Cemetery, St Lucie Co, Florida, United States ⁴⁵⁹⁹.)
