Jens Andersen Hulbækdal
Research Notes:
1. From, Klokkervang
Jens Anderssen born 1749 was the first blacksmith at Tolga village. He went to Røros where he was a master blacksmith at the Røros works smelter. He was married: in 1782 he had a son-in-law named Anders Olsen Brue; in 1785 has step-son who is still not of legal age; in 1790 the records [curator ?] show Jens Hammersmed, but in 1813 [it is noted that he has] a widow Kirsten Andersdatter with 1 son and 2 daughters. It is possible that Jon Jensen Smed discussed in the Bergrettens mortgage book of 1807-1813 is the son of Jens Hammersmed. This makes sense since he has both a both farm and garden in Røros in the vicinity of Peder Slotts.
