Obit, The Oregonian; Inger; death 21 Oct 2010; obit in Port Townsend Leader - born May 12, 1914 in Port Townsend - died 21 Oct 2010 in Clackamus, OR [ Clackamus County, OR - abt 15 kms southeast of Portland ] - daughter of Peter and Anna Norby; granddaughter of Karl Bendixen, the first superintendent of Fort Townsend - her family owned Norby Plumbing on Water Street - 1931 graduate of high school (honors) and attended Washington State College in Pullman, WA [ just south of Auburn or Seattle ] - worked in Young's Dress Shop, Crown Zellerback Mill (lab tech during WW II) - lists a number of organization, clubs, etc in Port Townsend and OR - Married Bernard T (Barney) Mullaney in 1934 at the Manres Hall in Port Townsend - he was transferred to OR in 1950, where they settled in Gresham -- they raised berries and animals, including Morgan horses that were bred and shown in the US and Canada - lists a number of her activities - survived by sons, Bernard T Jr (and Sheri) of Trabuco Canyon, CA [ Orange Co, CA - abt 50 kms south of Anaheim ] and Pat Mullaney (Patrick) and Mary Jane; daughters, Ann White (Richard Wong) of Greshem and Susan Hicks (Fred) of San Diego, CA - preceded in death by her husband, Barney in 1995, her parents, brother Karl, and sisters Pernille Tierney and Peteranne Meyer - funeral arrangements by Crown Memorial Center, Milwaukie [OR] - "suburb" of Portland - funeral Oct 30, 2010 at Smith Memorial Presbyterian Church in Fairview [ OR - Greshem ] with "disposition" in Port Townsend [ disposition can mean disposal --- BUT there was no tomstone marker for her on the family plot at Laurel Grove cemetery ---- BUT it is likely this is where she was buried, BUT likely the children have not done anything about a marker, as of April 2011 ]
