- although not clear, it appears there is a John Robertson and wife (family 227; same dwelling), living/working as a labor/servant on the same farm

- Harry, wife Elizabeth, age 29, born in Canada, emigrated to US 1918, naturalized 1919, mother and father born in England
- children, Alberta, age 8 <1912>; Arnold age 6 <1914>; Fern age 5 <1915>; Carl age 2 and 11/12 <1917> ++ ++ all children are listed as emigrating to US in 1918 and born in Canada - then, this is crossed off and written over it is "Am Cit" -- ++ I understand this to mean that the children are considered as "American Citizen" since father was born in MN, USA
++ Merry Keith database lists the children as being born in Canada - American City (there is no place known in Canada as American City

- wife, born in Canada; age at marriage 20
- children listed as birth in Canada, and above in smaller letters "Am Cit" - again I understand this to mean American Citizen; ++ ++ Merry Keith database again indicates Canada - American City

6. California Death Index - birth in MN with date of 17 April 1889; mother's maiden name as Rice


7. From the Roughbark to the Buttes, 1981; page 368

- came from the States
- Harry homesteaded SE Sec 2, Twp 7, Range 19 and SW Sec 1, Twp 7, Range 19 and his father's land was north of this - Levi bought other land in the area
- Harry sold his land to his cousin - Alfred Johnson
- they had their auction sale in 1918 and returned to the States
- they later moved to Bellflower, CA - north of Long Beach, but really part of Los Angeles
- they are all deceased

++ in the write up for Alfred Johnson, it is noted that Alfred bought Harry's farm in the Gibson Creek area -- in Builders of the Great Land, on page 197, Gibson Creek School was established in 1912 (with the first school Mar 1913), and named after the Gibson Creek that flows through the area; it's location was on the SW of Sec 4, Twp 7, Range 19 on the north side of the correction line with RM of Norton
