Ola Olssen b 1817 on Moen, Ytre [p 215] married 1845 to Benedike Mikkelsdatter Midtdal [1822-1898]. [Benedike was a sister to my 2nd great grandmother, Berit Sofie Mikkelsdatter Midtdal, 1832-1890, and she was married to Lars Mikkelson, b 1830].

p. 280 [1850 era to 1891 at the latest]
Ola, b 1817, was the farmer in 1865 and 1875 at Øybakken [p 280].

Embret Olssen b. 1815 [his father was Ole Adamsen, 1779-1858]. Embret married 1841 to Anne Marie Torbergsdatter b. 1820 in Tufsingdalen, Punnibakken 89-1.
In the emigration list in the church register, it is noted that the family left for the North American free states, with the given date being 9 May 1851. Later it is added that they traveled to Schleswig [Slesvig; Germany, south of Denmark border] on 4 June, that the wife with two children returned at the end of July 1852 and that the husband left his family in Schleswig.
*** Embrets Olsen's wife, Anne Marie Torbergsdatter left for 1889 to America, and lived with her daughter Karoline Elisabeth ***.

d. 1935. Marit Embretsdatter was the daughter of Embret Olsen b 1815 [see top of 1st col, page 216]

In 1875, Ola and Marit rented a house in Søndre Sætra. They are at Bjørodden in the autumn of 1878 until the summer of 1880 at the earliest .... not in the seater period [?]
