sending this email to you on behalf of my mother, Ethel Brown. I wanted to let you know that after a long struggle with cancer, Ethel passed away peacefully at her home this afternoon with family at her side. Funeral arrangements are pending with Olson Funeral home in Fergus Falls, MN., and an obituary will be posted in the Fergus Fall Daily Journal--hopefully by Sunday. Sorry to deliver this sad news to you, but forever grateful for her that she has finally free! Sincerely, Ellen Brown, Ethel's Daughter

-- see information under Louise, Ethel's mother -- it appears that Arthur Anderson and Alvina Benson would be step-siblings to Ethel (their father was Andrew Anderson and mother, his first wife); Merriam would be Ethel's half-brother 2277,2498
