Gr.nr. 15/35 Langfloen is built on lot no. 153, Engerdalen or Sletmoen Skov, on one of the plots after the forest divisions in 1850.- It was built around 1870 by Gjermund Larsen [1836]. He is the son of Lars Gjermundsen Kvilten and Marit Zakariasdatter Brenden.
Lars Gjermundsen [b 1817] was the son of Gjermund Jonsen Lillebo, who in turn was the son of the Jon Jonsen from Heggeriset who built N. Lillebo. Marit Zakariasdatter [Gjermund Larson Langfloen's mother] was married to Jens Eliasen from Elverum. They lived on Omang after Knud Omang had left for Sweden, and had probably also bought the place without having taken out a title deed to it. Gjermund grew up here [that is, the farm Omang] and lived here for several years after he married Maria Jonsdatter Lillebo in 1858 - at least he lived on Omang at the time of the census in 1865, but in 1875 he lives on Langfloen. Maria Jonsdatter, his wife [Gjermund Larson Langfloen's wife], was the daughter of Jon Jonsen Lillebo and his wife Kersti Hågensdt. Sørjoten [see Engerdal, vol 1, page 443], and full sister of Kari Jonsdatter Grossneset at Engeren [page 443].
Hågen Nilsen [b 1841], who built S. Svingen, was a double cousin of Gjermund Langfloen. Hågen's father, Nils Gjermundsen Kvilten, was married to Berit Zakariasdt. Brenden [and Nils Gjermundsen was a brother to Lars Gjermundsen b 1817 - the father of Lars Gjermundsen Langfloen of Lers . Gjermund [Larsen Langfloen's] daughter, Kirsti, married at Lillebo**, d. 1964, nearly 100 years old, has provided much valuable information about conditions in Engerdal before that time. Langfloen was purchased about 1918 from Sletmoen (Semmings) by the 2nd user there, Gjermund Gjermundsen. At the census in 1875 (new at the time): 2 cows and 1 young bull and 2 sheep. Langfloen has purchased seats in Veundåsen from Stubb-sveen.
** Kirsti ... married Per Halvorsen Lillebo b 1856 ... see page 454 10510
Gjermund had a relationship with Marte Eriksdatter Brenden.
Gjermund next married Maria Jonsdatter Lillebo, daughter of Jon Jonsen Lillebo and Kirsti Haagensdatter Sørjoten, on 28 Jun 1858 in Rendal, Hedmark, Norway. (Maria Jonsdatter Lillebo was born on 22 Nov 1834 in Nørdre Lillebo, Rendal-Trysil, Hedmark, Norway and died on 13 Jan 1918 in Engerdal, Hedmark Co, Norway.)
