Per Halvorsen

   Another name for Per was Per Halvorsen Lillebo.

  Research Notes:

Birth: Per Halvorsen was likely born sometime between 1795 and 1800. The year 1795 is from the Bygebok for Engerdal; the year 1800 is from the death record of 1869 that records his birth as 1800. BUT I have not found a birth record in the parish registers - possibly some damage to the registers.


Note: I have not found a record of his birth/baptism in Trysil parish records .... there seems to be some damage to the register covering the year 1795 - there is one page for 1795, but Per is not recorded - the parish copy also may have some damage and with difficulty with the handrwriting and the scan rotation [ 16 Jul 2025]

and from Bygebok for Engerdal, vol 1, page 453 ... baptism date as 29 Sep 1795 ... but not in the register
However, both of the above record his death as 3 Sep 1869.

.. records the above date of death with burial on 6 Mar 1870? ... but this also indicates his birth as 1800 at Lillebo
- I haven't found a birth record for years 1799-1801 ...Note: around this time frame there was a change of boundaries between Trysil parish and Rendal parish

.. thus, I will record his birth as: "bet 1795 and 1800"

2nd family grouping ..... Per Halvorsen Lillebo .. takes over the other half of S. Lillebo, and kept the old name S Lillebo

Note: as of 22 Aug 2025 I have not recorded on the children of Per Halvorsen - only son Halvor b 1828

Per married Johanne Johnsdatter on 17 Jun 1827 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway. (Johanne Johnsdatter was born on 30 Nov 1806 in Nørdre Lillebo, Trysil, Hedmark, Norway and died on 27 Dec 1884 in Søndre Lillebo, Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.)
