Per Halvorsen Lillebo

   Another name for Per was Peder Halvorsen Lillebo.

  Research Notes:

Note: date of death is very uncertain. Most of the FamilyTrees that I have reviewed record his death as 28 Feb 1832. BUT a problem with this date is that the Trysil Parish record for the date of 28 Feb 1832 records the name as
"Halvor Pedersen" from Lillebo, and died at the age of 99 - a calculated birth would be about 1732 which seems to match with the birth/baptism record. BUT did the parish priest make a mistake on the name - instead of Halvor Pedersen, it should be "Per or Peder Persen/Pedersen" ? This is most likely the case.

Per Halvorsen settled and cleared land at søndre Lillebo. He went there likely around 1665 with his half-1st cousin, Jon Jonsen Lillebo, 1737-1805, from Heggeriset. - see Jon's page

then, page 453 ... Slekter on S Lillebo .... note in the very early days, Lillebo was also known as "Lille-Bua" [also, 1801 cen.]

-- we know that Halvor Persen's, b 1763-1764, father Per Halvorsen and his wife, Kersti Torgalsdtr are recorded in
1801 Census, at Lille-Bua , but Per Halvorsen age is recorded as 76 - then cal. birth 1725 [no parish register for year]
BUT if the birth/bap record for 1732 is correct, then the age in 1801 should be closer to 69 or 70 years for Per
