- in Armena, Ed farmed (rented) the old William Skaret farm (Margaret - just north of Martin Lyseng and south of the east - west road; the first year was 1942; Ed was married on 24 Oct 1943 at Czar; farmed about 6-7 yrs [Armena History books records 5 years], then to Armena; he and Everett bought the Armena store and bulk delivery, and also drove school bus

2. Armena History Book, p 193-196

- had the Armena store for about 1.5 yrs; then sold it to Maynard Moe [about 1950]
- then back to Margaret Hendenrickson's farm for about 1 year
- then house/acerage at Armena
- about 1951, started working Petcal Oil Co, then B A Oil (renamed to Gulf Oil)
- 1965 transfered to Stettler - lived there 15.5 years
- about 1980, returned to Camrose; worked at Bethany Sunset Home

- a more detail obit and "life story" was published in the Camrose Booster, 21 Jun 2016, page 24
