Family and Data Røros Family and Data Røros is a local team of Family and Data Sør-Trøndelag. The team currently (2023) has around 30 members. There has long been talk of creating a database of those who traveled to America. The work started partly in 2019. This has been a volunteer effort carried out by the members. From the Røros district, we believe that between 700 and 800 people traveled. We have used the church records, emigrant lists and the Røros Book to find those who traveled. In addition, we have registered the parents of the adults who traveled. This is to show where they came from in the district.
