Janet E Jerentosky - mother Irene Lillian Johnson, b 1911

Longtime Employee of Emporium of Jazz Age 65 of IGH [Inver Grove Heights, Dakota Co].
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family April 10, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Irene and Howard Jerentosky, infant son, Todd, and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janis Jerentosky.
Survived by longtime companion, Bob Friedl;
children,
Janna (Scott) Albertson; *
Pam (John) Wakeen,
Lance (Jennifer) Letendre;
grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Howe, Randi Wakeen, and Dante Carlson.

Memorial service 6:00 pm Monday April 18 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 550 W 7th St., Saint Paul MN. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred.

Janet Esther Jerentosky b in 1945, had at least 4 marriages/relationships. Her first marriage was held in Mason City, in 1960 to James Merrill Duffina. She was 15 years old at the time and he was 19. They had 2 children - Janna Lynn Duffin b 23 June 1961 and a son Todd Leroy who was born in 1963, but who died 4 months later. James Duffina was a Vietnam vetaren and it appears that he first went of Vietnam and in May of 1964, about 6 months after the death of their son. Usually a vet served a one year tour in Vietnam, and so he likely had returned around May/June 1964. Either while he was away or when he came back, James Duffina and Jane divorced. James married again in 1966, and in 1967 he serviced another tour in Vietnam - James and his second wife divorced in 1973.


Many of the Family Trees recorded that Jane Duffina (nee, Jerentosky) had remarried in Jun 1964 to Larry L Blomquist. Apparently they were married in Chicago (although I haven't found a marriage record). They had 1 daughter, Pamela Jane Blomquist born in Chicago at in 1965. However, they divorced sometime between 1965-1967 (I have not found a record), since Larry L Blomquist remairred his first wife, Judy J Poole in 1967 (they were first married on 1 Feb 1958 in Ramsey Co, and likely they were divorced around 1964; after Larry and Jane's divorce, Larry and Judy remarried).

Sometime between 1967 and 1970, Jane Jerentosky must have married someone with a surname of "Stolz" (I have not found a record of this marriage or who she was married to). The reason that I mentioned the surnam of Stolz is that other family trees record that Jane was married to Vernon Edmund Letendre. Their marriage was on 17 Apr 1970 in Ramsey Co, and their marriage records notes "Jane E Stolz". Vernon and Jane had one son, Lance Howard Letendre born on 9 Dec 1970, Ramsey Co.

Although the above summary gives an outline, there are missing gaps of information. Possibly in the future some more information will be posted on-line.

but does record his marriage to Jane Esther Kerentosky on 4 June 1964 at Chicago, with no source attached
ALTHOUGH, I'm not sure if this is accurate, since this FT and the other FT both note his marriage to Judith Poole on 1 Feb 1958 and they both record his death in 2016 - and they post his death cert that records his martial status is "married" and the name of his spouse as Judy J, maiden name as "Poole"
- so either this is not correct or he divorced and married Jane Jerentosky and then they divorced and he remarried his first wife ??
