Gunder I. Kvilvang died at his home in the town of Tordenskjold Wednesday noon from pneumonia.

Mr. Kvilvang came to America in 1883, coming direct to Fergus Falls and taking up a homestead in section 27, in the town of Tordenskjold where he has lived ever since. He was married in Norway about 1870, and two children born to this marriage are now living. His wife died a few years after coming to this country and he was married again in 1893 to Hannah Knutson of Fosston, who survives him.

The children by his first wife, Iver Gunderson of this city and Hans Gunderson of Saskatchewan, Canada and Gustave and Bertha Kvilvang who live at home, survive him. Mr. Kvilvang was born April 30, 1847, and was 77 years old at the time of his death.

Funeral arrangements will be announced upon the arrival of his son, Hans Gunderson from Canada.

After Gunder's first wifer Sigrid died, Gunder brought Hannah over from Norway to help with the children. They also eventually married and had 4 children (Clara, Gustav, Stella, and Bertha).

Gunder married Sigrid Kirstine Halensdtr about 1870 in Norway. (Sigrid Kirstine Halensdtr was born in Norway.)
