bullet  Noted events in his life were:

1. Death 1910 uncertain, 17 Mar 1910, Clackamas Co, Oregon, United States. Cornelius Nordberg's death location is uncertain. Findagrave.com under Theodore Nordberg (mememorial id, 5688498) links Cornelius' death as 18 Mar 1910 and that he was buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon County, Clackamas Co, OR [about 20 kms or so south of Portland]. Ancestry.com Family Trees post this information.

However, the location is unusual. Theodore Nordberg is recorded at Southside Twp in Wright Co on 19 Apr 1910 [enumeration date on the 1910 US Census]. Why would his son in Oregon and then died on 18 Mar? I guess an explanation could be that the family was on a traveling vacation to the west coast and then son Cornelius died there and was buried.

Ancestry's collection, Oregon, Death Index, 1898-2008, records the name Cornelius Nortburg who died on 17 Mar 1910 at Clackamas Co, OR, and has an image of the the list of deaths [Ancestry.com. Oregon, Death Index, 1898-2008 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 2000. Original data: State of Oregon. Oregon Death Index, 1903-1998. Salem, OR, USA: Oregon State Archives and Records Center.] This is also noted on FamilySearch.

There was a family, Oscar Nordberg (b 1866 in Sweden) who had emigrated in 1882 to MN, and had moved to Clackamas Co by 1930 (US Federal Census), However, in the 1920 US Census this family is recorded at Malta Co in Montana. So, it would be unlikely that they had a son named Cornelius who died in Mar of 1910 in OR. Additionally, their children were all born in MN and there is only one child named Cornelius Nordberg (b 26 Nov 1902) in the MN birth records.

The information on his death is likely correct, however, from the available information it cannot be proven.
