NOTE: The following children of Nils Ersson emigrated to North America. Likely they iniitially went to Minnesota due to family connections. 3 of them went to Roberts Co, South Dakota. I have NOT researched each of the Nils Ersson's children, only the the children who left Sweden for North America. More research is needed for those children who stayed in Sweden.

Those who emigrated, and note that the sons used the surname of "Nelson" in the US

- I have used Sharons Tree as a starting point; it is fairly comprehensive, although my research suggests that she has made some errors, and often I have used other FTs and other information. I have followed the family in the Östmark parish records and then after about 1850 in Lekvattnet records on Archivdigtal

[CI:3, p 693] record Marit Nilsdotter died, age 3 years with referencing household records at Bränarne ;; clearly this is Marit is not the daughter of 'our' Nils Ersson b 1825 ]
