See my translation (5 May 2019) of a short article "Häkkinen writting by Kenneth Bergman and posted on hiswebsite

1. geni.com FT (Tony Östlund) records that he was born in Kangasniemi, Kutemajærvi, Finlandik

2. some researchers (Jan-Erik Björk) note that Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen was married to 'unknown' prior to his second marriage to Karin Bengtsdotter (b abt 1600). From his first marriage he had a son, Sigfrid Henriksson (Häkkinen), and that he had received his share of his father's inheritance from the sale of Djuprämmen in Rämmen parish. Jan-Erik Björk says this is based on the work of Jan Myhrvold.

in another post by Jan-Erik Björk on 9 Dec 2011, he notes: Henrik Tomasson was most likely married twice. The first wife's name is not known. In this marriage, he had at least two sons: Sigfrid and Nils, both probably born in the 1620-1630s. This information has been published by Niclas Persson [also see the notes below from Niclas Persson]. The other wife was Kerstin Bengtsdotter, widow of Henrik Larsson Manninen. In this marriage, at least two children were born: Pål and Annika.
- https://forum.rotter.se/index.php?topic=34631.0; re: the above post by Jan-Erik Björk of 9 Dec 2011. There are a number of related posts and discussions, mostly between. It seems that Lena Nalmo thinks that Sigrid Henriksson Häkkinen is a brother to Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen. But Jan-Erik Björk is adamant that Sigrid Henriksson Häkkinen is a son of Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen, and also refers to the work of Niclas Persson.
On my Legacy database, I have recorded Sigrid Henriksson Häkkinen is a son of Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen, along with Nils Nilsson Häkkinen (b about 1630 and died abt 1719 [see geni.com FT, https://www.geni.com/people/Nils-H%C3%A4kkinen/6000000021040560721 ]

Tony Östlund, geni.com FT: Sigfrid Henriksson (Häkkinen) died about 1730 at Multtjärn, but he has a question mark, so likely he is not sure [ BUT, if Sigfrid was born abt 1622, he would have been over 100 years and so this is unlikley - he is NOT recorded in the transcribed death records which effectively start for this area in 1707 ]

link, https://www.geni.com/people/Sigfrid-H%C3%A4kkinen/6000000020554851309;
However, transcribed Fyrksände death records ONLY record a death for 25 Nov 1730 - Abraham Sigfridsson from Multtjärn, age 80 <1650> [ actual död book seems to say Ab....? ]
- Tony has recorded Abraham Sigfridsson's death as 25 Nov 1731
Tony also: updated on 20 May 2019
Notes that, Sigfrid Henriksson Häkkinen had first lived in Hæckfallet, and then later N Røjdåsen. He (and another farmer, Ojof Polak) had received the settler's (crofters) papers for Arnsjön (1648) by the county governor but had it was approved [?] by the sherrif who had appeared before the governor and board. Then a third Finn, Anders Jönsson Hotakka in 1652 was able to take over the property.
- Tony has included a number of comments, but they are most likely from exchange of posts between Jan-Erik Björk and Lena Nalmo pon 9 Dec 2011 (see above)

Bo Brunzell records that Sigfrid Henriksson Häkkinen as a son of Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen and that Sigfrid was born about 1622 in Finland. Bo Brunzell does not record any descendants of Sigfrid

** Niclas Persson Tenhuinen (Anbytarforum posts, Apr 2001; see page 9 of my document)
"Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen was married twice and in the first marriage got at least Henrik Henriksson Häkkinen who will be in Djuprämmen, and Sigfrid Henriksson Häkkinen ..." When his father died, Sigfrid didn't seem to inherit from his father (apparently the farm went to his step-mother, Kerstin Bengtsdotter, born about 1670 and the heirs from her first marriage to Bengt Henriksson Manninen, and Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen's and Kerstin Bengtsdotter's children, Pål Henriksson Häkkinen and Annika Henriksdotter. Remember: the farm Djuprämmen was first settled by Bengt Henriksson Manninen, and thus inheritance would have been to his children).
Since Sigrid Henriksson Häkkinen did not inherit any part of Rattsjöberg (that was 'purchased" after Djuprämmen was sold and the family moved to Rattsjöberg), he had moved to Mulltjärn.

** Richard Broberg [See my PC pdf file .... Finnish Immigration .... 1988]
Richard Broberg says, "....This Abraham Häkkinen was by taking everything into account and was judged to be son of Sigfrid Häkkinen, who in turn was the brother of the sprawling [he was said to have many parcels of land] Great Finn Hindrik Häkkinen at Rattsjöberg in Vitsand (cf. the next chapter)"

BUT: Niclas Persson Tenhuinen had also said that the Sigrid and Henrik being brothers is only based on Gottlund's story in the Diary, that was based on information in his travels of 1823 (close to a 150 years later). Of course, Nicals Persson is disputing that Sigrid and Henrik were brothers

3. Kenneth Bergman .......... search under Sigfridsson Häkkinen, Abraham

Sigfrid Henriksson Häkkinen tries to occupy a village in Arnsjön, Östmark 1648, but did stay there. Sigfrid is located in Norra Röjdåsen around 1670 and later with his son Abraham Sigfridsson Häkkinen in Multtjärn in the 1690s.

3. b.Veijo Saloheimo, "The attempt to identify the origin of the Forest Finns from Finland". Siirtolaisuusinstituutti EMigrations Institutet. Turko- Finland. 2009
Page 10 of PDF.In 1627, Nils Häkkinen left [received permission] Kangasniemi parish and Harjumaa village and was in 1669 in Vitsand [at that time, Fryksände Parish] on Rättsjöberget [often Saloheimo references mail correspondence or email from Nils-Erik Björk, from 1977]
- I'm not clear if this is a brother or son of Henrik Tomasson Häkkinen

5. There is one Ancestry FT [accessed 24 Sep 2020]: Broo-Släktträd FT
https://www.ancestrylibrary.ca/family-tree/person/tree/154538530/person/402183839663/facts

- this records Hindrik Häck/Hindrik Tomasson Häkkinen, b 1590 at Kangasniemi, Kutemajärvi, Ita-Suomen Laani, Finland [this is about 250+ km north of Helsenki and inland
- he was married to Kerstin Bengsdotter (Manninen) 1600-1669 and that her father was Bengt Manninen [???] 1535-1595
- records Hindrik Häkkinen had 7 children [but some are from Kerstin Bengsdotter's first marriage]
- also records that Hindrik Häck's father was Tomas Tomasson Häkkinen b abt 1570 and died abt 1620 in Finland

- BUT a major issue is that there are no source citiations and so I don't know the accuracy of the information (this FT at times indicates source 8449,8458
