[ under years, 1770, age 19] Sveaborg was a 'sea fortress' at Helsenki starting in 1750 to about 1790 (40 yrs]. Built under Swedish rule of Finland and was a result of the wars with Russia in the earlier 1700's. There is a number of references from a google search

- the above death record is a bit confusing; it doesn't seem to record the actual place of death; uses the phrase "...dödde i Vatusot" - this seems to indicate a place, but I think actually refers to a disease - "died of Vatusot [drospy ; lungs fill of fluid ??] - generally at this time frame, if a location is recorded it is recorded as "död på...." died at .....
10. Family search family tree; basics, but with some information does not correspond

Noted events in his life were:
1. Birth - 1728, 3 Nov 1728, Oviken, Jämtland län, Sweden. 8089 The Oviken parish records notes that his birth was on 3 Nov 1728 and this is likely the most accurate since it is recorded close the date of the actual event. Most of the other records, including the Household examintation books and his death record note that he was born 14 Nov 1727 (death record). There is about a 1 year difference, and could be an error.
On the DISBYT most of the records note is birth as 1728 (Benny Strand) but some record birth in Hallen, Jämtland (for awhile from about 1916-1939, Oviken and Hallen were one parish, but in earlier years, at least from the 1740's and prior to this the area was under Jämtland län's responsibility.
2. Residence, 1735-1744, 1735-1744, Oviken, Jämtland län, Sweden. 8095 Farm/village: Västnär. Corp Nils Bröijer is recorded starting in 1735 and until 1744 (not recorded in the last col, reflecting 1745). In 1735 he would have been age 7 or 8 and by 1744 he would have been about age 16.
3. Migration - 1749, 22 Dec 1749, Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden. 8096 Nils Bröijer arrived at Färila parish (from Oviken in Jämtland) on 22 Dec 1749, and on 8 Jan 1750 he was married to Karin Halsvarotter (b 1725) from Föne. Oviken is about 200 kms north of Färila (and is about 100 kms north of Ytterhogdal in Jämtland). It is likely that he was or was going to be stationed in the Föne area; it is likely that his soldiering had brought him to this area prior to his marriage (perhaps there was some type of connection between his father, Henrik Cristain Bröijer and her father, Halsvar Zachrisson Hjelte?). Note that there are no 'moving-out' records from Oviken for the 1749 period.
4. Residence, 1750-1781, 1750-1781, Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden. 8086 Village: Föne. Föne is the most likely residence for Nils J Bröijer, although on most of the household records he is recorded under the section "Soldater".
Nils married Karin Halvarsdotter, daughter of Halfvard Zackrisson Hjelte and Cherstin Halvarsdotter, on 8 Jan 1750 in Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden.8084 (Karin Halvarsdotter was born on 7 Jul 1725 in Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden 8085,8086 and died on 9 Feb 1795 in Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden 8087.)
Noted events in their marriage were:
1. Marriage, 1750, 8 Jan 1750, Färila, Gävleborg län, Sweden. 8084 The Färila parish records note that their marriage was on 8 Jan 1750 and it is likely this is the most accurate since it's recording is near the actual event. Some other household records and Karin Halsvarsdotter's death record notes their marriage as 1751.
