The Valdris Book (page 245-246) records that he served to 5 Sep 1918 and was at Head Quarters (H Q Co), 2 division Infantry, Camp Dodge. This also records that he was the son of Knut C Jackson, North Aurdal and Maria Egge, W. Slidre (Cliffgaard, Egge)

2. Residence - Unknown 1920-1930, 1920 to 1930, United States. As of 10 Oct 2016, I have not found a record of Arthur's residence in the 1920 or 1930 US Federal Census for Iowa, Minnesota or North Dakota.
