- looking at MN death index for name and year of Death - Anna Cecilia Erickson (Hennepin Co), but records her birth as "out of state"

  Noted events in her life were:

1. Residence 1930, 15 Apr 1930, Northwood, Grand Forks Co, North Dakota, United States. ⁶³⁴¹ Elmer P Erickson age 37 <1893> born in MN, married at age 29 <1922>, occupation as a Proprietor of Hotel. Wife, Anna C age 42 born in MN, married at age 33 <1922>, works as a Cook, Hotel; Children, Roy D age 6 born in ND and Evelynne G (spelled as Evalyne) age 5 born in ND. Five "roomers" are recorded, including Marie Jackson.

Marie Jackson age is 62 <1868> and is a Widow. This records says she was born in Sweden and her parents were Swedish and that she emigrated in 1890; I think this is incorrect information.

Although I can not definitely prove this, but my hunch is that this Marie Jackson is Anna's mother. I think is that she was living at Northwood City with her eldest daughter, Anna C; but was visiting her other daughter Lottie (since she is also recorded in MN) on the 21 Apr and she was counted with her daughter's household. Meanwhile on the 21 of Apr in ND she was also recorded with her daughter's Anna's household and likely the enumerator made the mistake of birth location, since the age is correct.

2. Death unknown, Between 1940 and 1972. Anna C Erickson (Jackson) date or location of death is unknown. It is noted from her sister, Clara's obituary, published 26 Nov 1972 that she had died.

She is not recorded in the death indexes for ND or MN, although there is one person named Anna C Erickson, born 7 Mar 1888 and died 4 Jan 1961. This person is buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Alvarado, Marshall Co, MN [about 30 kms north of Grand Forks]. The MN death index indicates location of death as Hennipen Co, but records her birth as "out of state". This may not be the same person, but it is still a possibility [ I recorded this note, 27 Nov 2016]

3. Residence 1940, 1 Apr 1940, Northwood, Grand Forks Co, North Dakota, United States. ⁶³⁴² Elmer Erickson, age 47 born in MN, grade 8, Proprietor Hotel worked 96 hours the last week of Mar and worked 52 weeks in 1939. Wife, Anna C age 52 born in MN, grade 8, Housekeeper and Cook, worked 48 hours last wk of Mar and 52 wks in 1939. Children Ray D age 16, 2 yrs high school and Evelyn age 15, 1 yr high school.

Anna married Elmer P Erickson on 14 Feb 1922 in Polk Co, Minnesota, United States ⁶³³⁹.^,6340 (Elmer P Erickson was born about 1893 in Minnesota, United States ⁶³⁴¹.)
