- according to this article, Tollef J Egge died of a heart attack (he had retired and lived in Windom, but often went to the farm); when he died, the farm was left to Ella and her husband, Ernest Brodin and they took over Tollef's farm; the other children (Olga and Elai received some land)
- Ella's husband Ernest died of a heart attack in 1948; Ardith and her husband, Herbert Frederickson, had moved to a small house on the farm after their marriage in 1947; Herbert and Ardith essentially took over the farm
- the photo attached to the article includes Ardith and her son, Karl Frederickson (and his wife Bonnie)

- the owner of this tree has a number of sources and for 'our' Ella everything is correct except for the wrong marriage and residence in 1920, 1930, 1940.
- the tree's owner Ella C is named as Ella C Eggess born in MN married to Earl Deloss Lawrence in Idaho marriages
