1. Uncertain birth - 1869, Between 1869 and 1871, Christiania Twp, Jackson Co, Minnesota, United States. 6562,6569,6570 Ella Johanna Egge's birth is uncertain. Her mother's obiturary (Ingeborg Evenson) says that in 1890 the family experienced sorrow when "...diphtheria claimed the lives of her daughter Ella, age 20, and her son Eli, age 15. This would mean Ella's birth was in 1870. In the book An Illustrated History of Jackson Co it is noted on page 502 (John J Egge, Jr bio sketch) that Ella was born on 1 Feb 1869. On FamilySearch.org's indexed collection, "Minnesota Deaths and Burials, 1835-1860, there is an entry for Ella's death on 9 Jul 1890 and that she was age 19; this would mean her birth was about 1871. Her mother's obit andf the book, are likely the most accurate.
