Note: Nils Jacobsen Sønmør farmed/homesteaded in St Olaf Twp, Otter Tail Co - family is recorded in 1870 US Census; there is a person named Ole Evensen also here (page, image 10) BUT on ancestry poor image, but on family search, the age is recorded as 49 meaning the birth would be on 1822; BUT on familysearch there is an Ole Evensen born about 1837 in Norway at Blooming Grove Twp, Wascea Co, MN, married to Anna age 30 Nor and Julia age 28 born in Nor (sisters) and Ole age 6 <1864> born in MN and Julia age 3 <1867> born in MN ????. Based on the age of the son Ole, this is not likely the same Ole Evensen.

2. Residence 1865, 1865, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway. ⁶⁴⁸⁶ Farm: Vangsgjelten (#228); farm worker (Tjenestekarl)

3. Migration - 1866, 29 Apr 1866, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway. ⁶⁴⁸⁷ Leaving Tolga Parish, Ole Iver Evensen Sønmør along with the Nils Jacobsen Sønmør family.

4. Migration - 1866, 18 Jul 1866, Quebec, Quebec, Canada. ^6488,6489 Arrival at Quebec City aboard the ship Vidfarne (Ole Iver's surname is recorded as 'Sonmon' on the Library and Canada Archives). The Ship Vidfarne left Tronthjeim on 26 May 1866. On the Norway-Heritage passenger list, Ole Iver's name is recorded as Ole Iver Evensen Sønmøer. Also recorded on this passenger list are Even Jacobsen Sønmøer and the Niels Jacobsen Sønmoen (Sønmør) family.
